Leonard Stone does not demonstrate any hallmark characteristics of PMPD-induced abilities under the established testing procedures of the Metahuman Ability Assessment (MAA) for traits outlined in D-0002-K "METAHUMAN DEFINITIONS AND CLASSIFICATIONS". These include explicit markers of physical properties and stress tests under MAA doctrines, as well as implicit markers that would be revealed through mandatory genome testing and cellular sampling. A. INFRARED ENERGY STORAGE AND CONVERSION
Morrison possesses a mutation of the photoreceptor and thermoreceptor cells within his body; in particular, there are an abundance of photoreceptor cells along the integumentary system, and a higher number of thermoreceptors along the surface of his skin. Biopsies of muscle and epithelial cells taken from Morrison's body also show a high number of chromophores, or light-absorbing molecules, within his body; these three traits make up the primary manifestation of Morrison's PMPD mutation, which appears to be the paranormal tolerance for heat absorption and diffusion from his body. In particular, Morrison's skin and muscle is able to absorb infrared radiation at a far higher rate and quantity than a baseline human, and his cells appear to display high resistance to heat and kinetic energy dispersion along their structure; a higher number of chromophores and abnormal properties of these molecules, too, mean that Morrison's body is able to internalize, store, and release infrared radiation via heat in excess temperatures of thousands of Kelvin; this release of heat is coupled by the immediate combustion of oxygen in the air around him at no apparent harm to Morrison beyond the sensory effect of "uncomfortable warmth"[2].

In order to generate this energy, Morrison requires an equal amount of energy absorption to that which is required for release. Simulated testing has concluded that the chromophores and cells within Morrison's body are able to absorb and release infrared radiation with relatively zero loss of this energy to outside sources; as such, Morrison's cells have been observed to mimic properties similar in concept to an ideal heat engine. Further elaboration upon the thermodynamic properties at work are currently being researched.

The upper limit of Morrison's possible surface temperature is approximately 5,300 Kelvin-- around 500 Kelvin cooler than the surface of the sun. Cessation of the heat release and oxygen-combustion cycle is possible and requires minimal effort from Morrison. Given his integumentary system also acts as a superior insulator against heat, the dissipation of energy means that an uncovered hand may safely touch his body after approximately 3 seconds; this window is smaller if a heat-diffusing material is used in a donned outfit.

II. SUPPLEMENTARY MUTATIONS
A. "BULWARK" PHYSICALITY
Theorized as a sub-mutation as a result of the stress constant ignition and high temperatures may have upon the human body, Morrison's musculoskeletal system has been observed to absorb high-impact collisions and withstand extreme temperatures. The keratinocytes of Morrison's body, in particular, possess the highest melting point of any substance known to man, at approximately 6,000 Kelvin-- almost 1,800 Kelvin higher than hafnium carbonitride. Precise experimental testing to determine the exact melting point of Morrison's cells has not been conducted. While not fully bulletproof, Morrison's body is highly bullet-resistant, with little trauma received from gunfire or blunt-force impacts. Cutting attacks prove more effective, but only marginally.
B. COMBUSTION CONTROL
Morrison displays some level of kinetic control over the combustion and heat-release he possesses; this may be used in a variety of ways. A slingshot launch into the upper atmosphere may allow Morrison to absorb high amounts of energy upon re-entry, which in turn would allow for limited flight along the stratosphere to simultaneously keep his body from freezing and steer his trajectory to a desired location. Additionally, timing these combustion bursts may prove effective as an offensive tool. In particular, the buildup of energy, whining noise, and subsequent combustion bears heavy resemblance to the release of a rocket or firework, to which the origin of Morrison's MIRA alias is owed. Morrison may use these bursts to disorient, incapacitate, or otherwise kill a target should the need arise.


SECTION Nº3: OBSERVED EQUIPMENT
I. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
A. HEAT-RESISTANT SUIT AND COSTUME
Morrison's costume consists of a bodysuit, and shoulder-cape made out of high-temperature woven textile-- in particular, yttria-stabilized zirconium fibers that are resistant to temperatures around 2,700 K. Heat release exceeding this temperature may incinerate or melt Morrison's suit and requires a greenlight by the present Lead Analyst for an Incident Response. Additionally, the metal clasps, pins, and pauldrons of Morrison's costume are crafted from pure tungsten.

II. MIRA-ISSUED EQUIPMENT
A. MIRA EARPIECE
A standard short-range communications earpiece has been provided, as per RoE for Incident Response Specialists.
B. PERSONAL PHONE
An iPhone 19 Pro-Max has been supplied to Morrison for general communications purposes. Voicemail has been changed to that of a kind and personalized message. Analytics display that the phone is mainly used for photos of Morrison's cat, "Eric", and Apple Arcade games.


SECTION Nº4: SPECIALTIES AND SKILLS
I. IMAS CLEARANCE
Morrison has been granted IMAS authorization for THREAT RED, STAKE 9 and below. Provisional clearance based on active incidents may be provided at the Director's discretion, barring any outstanding infractions at time of service.

Morrison possesses approximately 12 years of boxing experience. None of this experience is professional and has largely been for exercise purposes; however, it is Morrison's main form of hand-to-hand engagements with Incident Suspects beyond his combustion-based abilities.

A. ENHANCED MECHANICAL APTITUDE
Ravenir possesses a heightened intellect and problem-solving capabilities. Analysis of Ravenir's brain patterning and analysis of event-related potentials display faster neural conduction, slower rate of fatigue within the brain, and a slower cerebral metabolic rate during times of peak brain activity. Consequently, Ravenir has displayed the capability for complex analysis, faster information processing, and calculation abilities which mimic cruder supercomputers. Improved hand-eye coordination and deductive reasoning skills have also been observed.

II. SUPPLEMENTARY MUTATIONS
A. ENHANCED NEUROPLASTICITY
MRI scans of Ravenir's brain reveal a larger pineal gland than normal; additionally, his brain has been shown to adapt to stimulus and form neural pathways at a far faster rate than a non-PMPD baseline population sample. Circuits within Ravenir's brain have demonstrated the ability to recover from stress responses at a faster rate, and form more expansive neuron pathways during the process of learning new skills or abilities. Additionally, he has demonstrated the ability to pick up skills at a far faster rate than a non-PMPD individual, requiring less practice to reach a level of competency alongside a baseline human performing the same training.


SECTION Nº3: OBSERVED EQUIPMENT

I. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
A. IOX MK.II ARMORED COMBAT SUIT (ACS)
Ravenir's primary asset as the Cloak persona "CANNONADE" is the IOX-ACS-II-- a full-body armored suit that houses one occupant. The suit possesses numerous offensive and defensive capabilities.

OFFENSIVE:
- 2x collapsible rotating chain guns, chambered in .50 BMG (wrist-mounted, Dagger operations only);
- 2x high-frequency sonic emitters (forearm-mounted, 200 dB upper limit);
- 2x flashbulb stun devices (palm-mounted, replaced after use);
- 2x collapsible ballistic firearms, chambered with rubber bullets (knee-mounted);
- 2x "Full-Arm Configuration" (FAC) cannon assembly frame, codenamed "FATBOY"-- referred to as "Full-Arm Transfiguration, Big Ol' Yield" by Ravenir (arm-mounted).

DEFENSIVE:
- Reactive Armor Paneling (RAP) along midsection, back, and thighs;
- "DEFENSE Configuration" setting, locking joints and deploying anti-trauma measures along neck, skull, and spine;
- Lightweight ceramic composite armor plating along majority of IOX-ACS-II.

In particular, the FAC cannons require 5-10 seconds of deployment time; the configuration functionally turns each arm of the IOX into a small-scale artillery cannon. As such, Ravenir loses the functionality of his hands and arms at the expense of a devastating offensive ability. Exact specifications of the FAC's design are a closely-guarded secret amongst engineers; details include the implementation of magnetized circuits within the cannon barrels to create a low-power railgun. Additionally, Ravenir may combine both FAC-deployed arms into a singular, large cannon. Ammunition is primarily a shrapnel reserve held within the rear of the suit, as well as collected debris throughout an incident. Firing the cannon has been shown to generate hairline fractures along Ravenir's arm, and is to be used sparingly for CLOAK-TO-DAGGER engagements where a high-lethality closer is desired for rapid deployment.

Propulsion engines upon the calves and boots of the IOX allow for short-range aerial traversal, but not full flight capabilities. Extreme advisory during flight must be taken on behalf of Ravenir; direct collision or freefall from higher altitudes have proven fatal in simulated scenarios.

II. MIRA-ISSUED EQUIPMENT
A. MIRA EARPIECE
A standard short-range communications earpiece has been provided, as per RoE for Incident Response Specialists. In Ravenir's case, communications are routed through a back-channel on the IOX.

SECTION Nº4: SPECIALTIES AND SKILLS

I. IMAS CLEARANCE
As a Juror representing the Premiere Team of Washington, DC, Paul Ravenir has received proper training and licensing for operation of the Incidental Metahuman Account System, or IMAS, at a clearance level of THREAT RED, STAKE 9 and below. Provisional clearance based on active incidents may be adjusted at the Director's discretion, barring any outstanding infractions at time of service.
II. PRIMARY SPECIALIZATIONS
A. METALWORKING
Ravenir had trained as a Master Craftsman in welding before being hired by MIRA as a technical support engineer. Much of the IOX's maintenance is performed by his own hand, with peripheral support from engineering teams on-site.

B. ROBOTICS ENGINEERING
In addition to metalworking, Ravenir's aptitude in the field of robotics and mechanical systems has allowed him the opportunity to draft and test numerous additions to the IOX-ACS platform. When he is off-duty, common humanitarian activities include research and design into medical prosthetic devices through partnered services with Boston Dynamics, iRobot, and Promethean Technologies.

A. MATHEMATICAL SAVANT-STATUS
Veretti's primary mutation has affected the parietal and frontal lobes of the brain; in particular, his parietal lobe is approximately 20% larger than an average baseline human's. Additionally, his anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) has been found to be highly-developed, along with a higher number of Von Economo neurons, which have been associated with difficult problem-assessment and problem-solving.

These mutations have resulted in Veretti developing the calculation and mathematical skills of a savant, leading to an overall increase in intellect and complex thought. Attention allocation has been improved, allowing for Veretti to focus upon multiple sources of information at once; quantities of information that would otherwise "overload" baseline subjects are able to be processed and internalized by Veretti. In addition, the subject's capacity for snap-judgement and decision-making is improved over a baseline subject's; furthermore, error-correction and performance monitoring-- higher-level functions associated with the ACC-- have been drastically altered to account for multi-variable stimulus and situations, allowing for Veretti to account for multiple "error potentials" at once with minimal deviations to accuracy.

While his brain does not appear to have any supplementary mutations for "mechanical aptitude" as seen in other subjects (see D-2357-C "CANNONADE"), Veretti's enhanced analytical and mathematical prowess have allowed for multiple advancements in technological spaces-- included, but not limited to, pharmaceuticals, engineering, and general mathematical theory. While Veretti has worked in an advisory capacity for MIRA's analyst divisions, his ability to anticipate threats and execute on rapid judgements in the field have allowed him to perform as an exceptional Juror alongside more offensively-oriented metahumans. The ability to account for multiple dynamic variables and clashing perspectives during incident responses have demonstrated his ability to act as a natural leader, hence his ascension to a de facto shot-caller for the Premiere Team of NYC.

Despite his status as a Juror, Veretti has appeared in an academic and research-oriented capacity for multiple institutions under the alias "Cyclic". While his identity may be a bit of an "open secret" within the public eye, given his celebrity status as a savant-professor at MIT before recruitment by MIRA, measures have been taken by the organization to safeguard blueprints, private life details, and scheduled appearances.


SECTION Nº3: OBSERVED EQUIPMENT
I. PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
A. "RESONANT" EXOSUIT MK. IV
Collaborative project between Veretti and Paul "CANNONADE" Ravenir. The Resonant exosuit is a streamlined armor system, crafted from composite impact-resistant metal and sporting a shock-absorbent gel matrix to prevent high levels of concussive damage to the occupant. Defensive capabilities also include software elements on-board the Resonant suit, including but not limited to:

- A comprehensive real-time Threat-Stake Assessment catalogue and database scourer; - A heads-up display with suit integrity, vitals monitoring, and frequency-energy outputs; - A seismic depth-probe attachment to analyze structural integrity of structures and potential weak-points within buildings, enemy implements, and vehicles.

Additionally, the Resonant suit has been integrated with an artificial intelligence: the Comprehensive Latent Artificial Novel Combat Intelligence, or CLANCI. Designed by Veretti and implemented with the aid of Ravenir, CLANCI offers real-time updates and vocalizations of HUD elements while Veretti's attention may be focused elsewhere or his vision is otherwise compromised.

The Resonant exosuit's main offensive capabilities lie in the Resonant Frequency Sound Generation cannons upon the palms, forearms, boots, and chest of the armor. These offer disorienting concussive blasts on lower settings, all the way to high-impact ultrasound blasts that are able to pulverize materials and cause permanent damage to biological tissues. Lethal force outputs require the appropriate greenlight by assigned Lead Analyst during an incident response. Additionally, these concussive bursts may be sustained for a constant projection of sound energy at a target-- or, in more creative instances, short-range propulsion and even sustained flight. CLANCI has been outfitted with a comprehensive trajectory and vector calculation system to allow for the safest flight experience possible.

B. "NOISY CRICKET" HANDHELD SONIC DEVICE
For instances when Veretti might not have the Resonant exosuit on-hand, the "Noisy Cricket" is conceal-carried in a collapsible implement upon his RCS. While bearing some resemblance to the antique Austrian 2mm Kolibri handgun, it is slightly larger in size and is capable of imparting far more damage to a target; the Noisy Cricket contains a high-strength amplifier and wavelength modifier to unleash a multi-use pulse of energy, equivalent to a lower-setting burst from sound cannons integrated into the Resonant exosuit.

II. MIRA-ISSUED EQUIPMENT
A. ROLEX "TRUE BLUE" REINFORCED COMMUNICATIONS SMARTWATCH (RCS)
Standard-issue smartwatch for Premiere Team members and senior leadership of MIRA. Includes an onboard taser-dart, waterproof internals, emergency beacon, and supports satellite-based communication for long-range correspondence. Veretti's watch is noticeably bulkier due to the additional implement of the "Noisy Cricket". While performance and integrity of the watch does not appear to be compromised by the addition of the device, further qualification of the modified RCS has been requested.

B. SIG SAUER M11-A1, "DAVID" ROUNDS
Standard-issue MIRA sidearm. Conceal-carried for public appearances. Chambered in experimental AP "David" ammunition for use against Bulwark-class physiology.


SECTION Nº4: SPECIALTIES AND SKILLS
I. IMAS CLEARANCE
As a Premiere Juror, Simon Veretti has been authorized for THREAT RED, STAKE 9 within the Incidental Metahuman Account System.

II. PRIMARY SPECIALIZATIONS
A. OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Veretti's identity has been classified as HIGH-PROFILE by MIRA analysts, due to his fame in academic circles and pop science groups. As such, the true identity of the "Cyclic" persona is largely regarded as an open secret; however, steps have been taken to mitigate private details of Veretti's life to preserve his integrity as a Juror. Before being acquired by MIRA in 2025, Veretti was the youngest employed professor at MIT at age 19-- just one year below Erik Demaine, who had been employed at age 20. He rose to full professorship in 2021, and continued to teach at the institute until 2025.

Veretti's work on ultrasound technology and wave-emission research has earned him consideration for a Nobel Peace Prize. In 2026, Veretti was termed the "Smartest Man Alive" by Time Magazine; in a 2027 interview, Veretti stated that he agreed with this sentiment. Veretti continues to make public appearances to represent MIRA, though the link between himself and the Cyclic identity has never been explicitly confirmed. In particular, Veretti commonly hosts guest lectures at Ivy League colleges across the eastern seaboard of the United States, with select appearances at overseas institutions like Oxford College.

B. FIREARMS TRAINING
As per Code 1, Act 3 of the MIRA Procedural Operative Handbook, Simon Veretti has conducted and passed the required 6-Month Firearms and Equipment training and safety course. Having completed the course, S. Veretti has been cleared for use of Class-4 equipment and below to be assigned as necessary according to Code 2, Act 1 of the MIRA Procedural Operative Handbook.

Additionally, as per Code 1, Act 4 of the MIRA Procedural Operative Handbook, S. Veretti had been cleared for the use of experimental and "high-impact" weaponry, along with additional clearance for rifle possession and usage for on-campus security incidents.

A. PHOTON GENERATION AND MANIPULATION
Veretti's primary PMPD mutation has manifested in the form of heavily-altered photophore, chromophore, and mitochrondria presence and hyperdense cellular structures within the muscular and integumentary systems of the human body. These cellular structures bear similarities to other PMPD-present individuals (see D-1776-C "ROCKET'S RED GLARE") insofar as absorption is concerned; however, Veretti's body seems most efficient at absorbing light along the visible spectrum, and has the added benefit of being able to emit and project visible light through specialized intracellular structures within the body. Additionally, Veretti appears to have the capacity for photosynthesis through the presence of chloroplast-like organelles present along the surface layer of the body.

Analysis of tissue samples from Veretti's body shows highly-ordered crystalline structures along the epidermal layer-- that is, highly-mutated keratocytes and epithelial cells that have grown fully transparent. These cells have been carefully arranged within the body to focus the light emitted from bioluminescent photophores beneath the skin, acting almost like a lens to increase the brightness and accuracy of these emissions. As a result, much of Veretti's body appears to glitter under direct lighting and has a slight verdant hue.

The capacity for energy far beyond biological norms, paired with the lens-like focusing system of integumentary cells, has resulted in the ability to hone these light emissions into visible beams or bursts of light from the surface of the body; these emissions can be used to stun, blind, or otherwise burn individuals at high enough concentrations. The highest-recorded surface-level illuminance emitted by Veretti was recorded to be approximately 150,000 lumens. Additionally, the intensity of light emitted by Verretti has a high enough watts per square meter to cause ignition in surfaces with sufficient absorbence, given there is enough sustained emission at an appropriate W/m2.

II. SUPPLEMENTARY MUTATIONS
A. ENHANCED ENERGY CAPACITY
Veretti's photosynthetic nature has allowed for increased energy reserves and reduced fatigue, when paired alongside baseline aerobic respiration. Additional energy reserves also allows for increased levels of photon emission when not fatigued.

A. CRYSTALLINE SUIT
Veretti's armored suit under the alias "Luminary" is coated with a highly-reflective ceramic-glass composite, along with transparent reinforced glass paneling along the palms and inner forearms. Additionally, the interior of Veretti's suit is lined with high-efficiency solar paneling to store emitted energy, decreasing the amount of wasted solar energy during pulses and regular emission. The stored energy is funneled into the palms, forearms, head, and chest for targeted emission against targets, with the potential for operation and function similar to Mobile Tactical High Energy Laser (MTHEL) technology that had been developed during the Nautilus laser system's lifespan.

Described as conventionally attractive by most media outlets, Veretti's physical beauty and adaptable personality have made him a go-to for photo ops and interview pieces alongside other popular MIRA personalities like "Songbird", "Gilagmesh", and "Miss Liberty".

Additionally, Veretti's appearances with his twin sibling (D-4098-C "CYCLIC") under their respective aliases have earned them the moniker of the "Veretti Twins"; Ryan's identity, much like Simon's, is often much of an "open secret" to the general public. No explicit confirmations of identity have occurred, as per operational guidelines under The Myth.
