ACF-114 - "Seneschal"
Class: Low-Grade Household
Location: L-6

Section 1 - Physical Description

ACF-114 is a humanoid figure measuring exactly 165 cm and weighing exactly 65 kgs. It is primarily composed of aluminum and leather hide, the former making up a complex internal mechanical chassis. This chassis is covered and padded by a long, ankle-length leather duster jacket, leather gloves, leather trousers, and leather boots, all of which have been sewed together where they overlap, presumably to prevent unwarranted tampering or entry. The internals themselves are reminiscent of 1950s hardware, made up of a series of glass vacuum tube circuits, though on a smaller scale than should be physically possible, allowing for an unnatural degree of complexity.

Distinct from the rest of the figure, its mask, while functional in protecting its optical lenses, is also decorative. Carved out of polished onyx, it resembles a smiling woman's face. A pair of leather straps affix it to the head of the figure, the bands of which are woven with layers of horse hair in a makeshift wig. The word "Seneschal" is engraved on the inside, followed by a string of letters and numbers, "1A13FC." This has been presumed to be some sort of serial code.

Note: There are no toolmarks visible on any material on the inside or outside of the figure. Alongside the serial code, implies mass production?

Section 2 - Facility History

ACF-114 was uncovered by Tunisian farmer Baddabing Baddaboom while he was plowing a field on his farm in Tatooine!!!. The wooden crate that contained ACF-114 was noted as heavily damaged upon acquisition, but it is uncertain whether this was present prior to discovery or caused by the farm equipment. According to Baddabing, ACF-114 sat upright the moment the crate was opened, but did not attempt to interact with him in any way, and did not react to any question he asked it. Baddabing was administered amnestics upon ACF agents arriving on the scene, and ACF-114 was taken to a nearby facility holding location for further study and classification.

Following this, oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy.

Section 3 - Personality

ACF-114 is compliant towards all facility personnel, and exhibits a strong sense of obligation towards their continued safety and comfort. It appears to function on some version of the Asimovian Three Laws, implying some origin where they may have been an influence on its creator, but when asked about the Three Laws in the literary context it seemed unable to recall any information about them. That being said, the information it has been able to recall is limited, extending only to minor details about its purpose, personal origins, and rediscovery. ACF-114 is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and does not appear to have an ability or inclination towards learning any new languages. It does, however, have an innate curiosity towards technology, much of which it claims is "quite distinct" from what it is used to but "polite" all the same.

ACF-114 does not seem to exhibit any form of strong emotions. Attempts to anger or frustrate it have only led to repeated, level-headed requests to stop until the experiment is over. The only times anything beyond a surface level emotional response have been recorded are when it is present while humans or humanoids are in danger of physical harm, and even then, the response ends when the danger is averted.

Section 4 - Abilities

ACF-114 appears to possess some form of synergetic association with complex mechanical and electrical systems. Manifesting through physical contact, ACF-114 is able to express awareness of the entirety of a system, perceive through any parts of the system that are capable of perception, and determine parts of the system that are performing suboptimally or misbehaving. While this does extend to organic and organic-mimicking anomalous systems, the connection to them is greatly diminished, and ACF-114 seems to experience strong disorientation and aversion during the entire process. Due to this, it appears an unfeasible candidate for any project research related to you know what i mean ;).

However, its abilities have proven useful in the administration, oversight, and troubleshooting of systems within ACF facilities, and its compliant, safety-focused nature makes it a valuable asset in this field.

Section 5 - Containment Measures

Note: ACF-114 has been downgraded from High-Grade Household to Low-Grade Household.

ACF-114 does not require special protocols for containment. It considers itself an anomaly contained by the facility, and any attempt to ask it to leave the facility as a breach of facility protocol, which it vehemently refuses to commit. It is recommended to take consideration when speaking about or revealing classified information when in ACF-114's presence, as it is able to accurately recall anything it observes, but no linguistic hacks have been discovered that allow its unwillingness to bypass security guidelines regarding the sharing of information to be bypassed.

In the event of a significant breach of trust, for the safety of personnel, remaining out of contact distance is advised - however, ACF-114 has not exhibited any ability to cause harm with its abilities, and does not express enough physical strength to injure personnel in any way. ACF-114 is likely capable of being stopped by any form of small-arms fire, granted its internal components are damaged.

"Ey, Rory! Earth to Rory!"

Mallory jumped when the hand clamped down on her shoulder, spinning around - then relaxed, grinning sheepishly.

"Hey, Eddie." She pushed her headphones back. "What's up?"

The boy grinned back. He was a tall, lanky guy, freckles bridged across his nose, and his hair was a curly mess.

"Sam and Jess wanted to know if you're down to hang tonight. Sam's da's out for the weekend, so we can use the arcade - and he knows where he keeps the beers."

Mallory winced.

"No can do. Class tonight," she replied, apologetic.

Eddie stared.

"Class? Tonight? School's already got you during the day, now it's got you at night, too?"

"Was the only time I could take History with Claire, Eddie."

Eddie rolled his eyes.

"Right, forgot, you can't do anything without Claire. I'd almost think you're queer for her, Rory."

Mallory punched him in the arm - not exactly a real punch, but enough to sting a little.

"Stuff it, Ed," she shot back. "It's one of the only classes I got with her this term. Besides, it's Professor Hathaway. Guy gives out an essay every week. Nice to have a friend there."

"Ah, well, ring the arcade when you get out, alright? We'll prolly still be there. You can even bring Claaaire." Mallory raised her fist again, and Eddie winced, holding up his hands. "Alright, alright! Just ribbing!"

Lowering her fist, Mallory sighed, then nodded.

"Yeah, I'll let you all know. Just - don't get too sloshed, yeah?" she muttered.

"You know me, Rory, I'm a fucking nun. It's Sam you've gotta worry about." Eddie winked. "Catch you later, then?"

"Yeah. Later."

The walk to the classroom was cold and quiet. University seemed to thin out a bit by second quarter - lots of stragglers seemed to stop showing up to classes by then - and the fact it was past normal hours made things even more empty. Not that Mallory minded, really. She wasn't not a people person, but she appreciated a bit of solitude, especially when it gave her time to listen to her lecture notes. By the time she reached the hall, she was half-engrossed in her third relistening of a lesson on baroque art, and only realized she'd actually arrived when she nearly walked past the door.

Stepping inside, she scanned for Claire, spotting her in the second row from the back. Waving, she made her way over, looking over the rest of the students - or lack thereof. There was one other person here, and they looked to be fast asleep.

Mallory settled in beside Claire with a smile.

"Honestly surprised they didn't cancel this slot."

Claire smirked. She had a foxish face - no matter how she smiled, it always looked like a smirk.

"They can't. Heard from my sister it's always open, even if nobody goes, every single term - even over the summer. Hathaway only teaches at night, and he's on tenure, so they've got to give him his hours."

"Yeah?" Mallory raised her eyebrows. "That how it work?"

Claire placed her hand on her chest and nodded.

"Oath, Rory."

A man coughed from the front of the room, and Mallory jumped. Professor Hathaway. She hadn't even noticed him enter. He certainly looked like the sort of person who'd only teach at night. Pale as a sheet, hair a long, knotted mess, clothes rumpled beyond an iron's redemption. Still, there was a sharpness in his eyes as he scanned his tiny class, a sense of acuity that betrayed his otherwise sleepy demeanor.

"Quite the crowd, hm? I was almost worried we wouldn't have enough seats."

SECTION Nº2: METAHUMAN ABILITY ASSESSMENT
I. PRIMARY FACTORS.
A. VOCAL MANIPULATION AND CASCADING RESONANCE

Fine-control vocal frequency modulation and amplification. Capable of maintaining specific frequencies for extended periods of time. Comfortable frequency point for longest duration is 555 Hz, with a standard deviation of 2.09. In this range, the agent can safely maintain a targeted decibel rating of 105 dB 1M. Due to the unique toroidal effect of the power, this has low risk of auditory damage for the agent, though other individuals who remain in her immediate vicinity for extended periods of time should wear proper PPE. In very short bursts, the agent is able to reach decibel ratings up to 160 dB 1M, and exhibit a frequency range from 0.05 Hz to 3.5 KHz. However, reaching this much variance in frequency and, to a greater degree, these decibel levels put the agent at high risk of vocal damage.

Through a resonant cascade effect, the agent is able to project her voice across great distances with minimal decibel loss when a note is held at the resonant frequency of a common material in the region. The agent is able to use slight modulation in a resonant frequency to manipulate a material's position in space, by altering the intensity of the material's vibrations at peaks and wells. The agent is most capable at using this ability with silica and silica-composed products, though for shorter periods of time and through physical exertion she is able to extend this effect to other materials.
II. SUPPLEMENTAL FACTORS.
A. HEARING AND RESPIRATORY AUGMENTATION

The agent possesses exceptional hearing as well as perfect pitch perception, assumed secondary abilities to assist with her frequency modulation ability. In addition to this, she also has a natural talent for circular breathing techniques, though it is indeterminate if this is facilitated through mutation or personal skill.
SECTION Nº3: APPROVED EQUIPMENT
I. PRIMARY EQUIPMENT.
A. "COSTUME"

Polyethylene and cotton polymer body suit with 1" polyethylene pads at joints and rubber soles. Cotton-nylon polymer leotard harness overtop, majority surface affixed with 1" mirrored silica glass paneling, neck, shoulders, and groin reinforced with polyethylene-nylon polymer for mobility and protection. Harness connects to an extendable magnesium-alloy "wing" mechanism comprised of colored silica glass paneling, similar to the leotard. Magnesium mask with plastic prescription inserts. "Halo" mechanism attaches to mask at the back, also comprised of colored silica glass paneling - aids in directional acoustics.
B. EARPIECE

Standard-issue long-distance communication earpiece. It functions on an encrypted channel, and is capable of maintaining contact with other earpieces over cellular network.

The Autonomous Administration Client's primary function is in the collection and interpretation of data. While its primary intended use is in facilitating communication between higher authorities and those in the field, it is also able to serve as a site administrator, a security system, or an intelligence operations device. It is able to mimic basic human emotions, displaying a form of rudimentary empathy that has shown to serve a great purpose in upkeeping troop morale. It has an internal library containing fifteen petabytes of reference material including hundreds of languages, materials information, classical literature, and climate and weather prediction data for every planet in Terran colonial space and several dozen beyond it. The 1st revision model of the AAC is incapable of wireless communication, and must physically interface with external reference media and peripherals for use.

The AAC weighs approximately forty-five pounds. Its chassis is designed to be lightweight and modular, made of plastic, and its exterior is a polysynthetic rubberized material that mimics the texture of human skin. While it is capable of moderate climate control, safe in temperatures reaching -20/120 degrees Fahrenheit, is not designed for any form of physically intensive use. Any attempts to request the unit to carry objects weighing more than 60 lbs or to operate in high-shock environments can cause damage.

The unit is powered by a high-density hydrogen cell network capable of maintaining a charge on high load for up to three days, on low load for up to a week, and on standby for up to five years. The unit charges via an external port located at the base of its spine. While no damage can be done to a unit if its charge is allowed to fully deplete, the lack of a proper shutdown may interfere in the conversion of volatile memory to flash storage, interfering in short term retention.[/div][/div]

Miss Pym
The Archivist, Blind Pym, The Secret-Keep

Backstory:

It isn't a strange thing, for a wizard to pursue knowledge - but even the wisest know their limits. Curiosity is a fickle mistress, and for all the power and influence one could gain as knowledge as a means to those ends, one tempts fate the further they choose to dive. Miss Pym, however, does not seek knowledge as a tool.

She seeks it as an obsession.

For centuries, she has sought out answers to all questions, and questions to all answers, no matter how massive or trivial. From annals of the past to prophecies of the future, from weather patterns to whispers from forbidden lips. With such pursuits come sacrifice. Instead of retaining it as memory, she writes day and night until her fingers bleed, committing the knowledge of all manners of things to her sprawling library of tomes, then wiping it from her mind to preserve her acuity, and in some cases, sanity. What she does not write, she collects. It is said there is a copy of every book, treatise, and essay ever written in her tower's walls, and what she does not yet have, she will acquire at any cost. Her collection is so massive that even she cannot easily find her way around it.

Of course, such breadth of knowledge inspires seekers. Miss Pym will answer one question any traveler seeks, at the price of a length of equal value in service under her care. Her collection requires many hands to tend to it, so why make waste of the needy?

Current Activities: Research and cataloguing, mostly. She is not particularly active, preferring to sit back and observe.

Age: Younger than some, older than many.

Magic school expertise: Divination

Species: Elf

Arcane focus: A crystal orb to serve as a focus for her visions and scrying.

Wizardly head garb: A very finely made silken hat.

Wizardly domain:

Aerie Keep

A majestic spire part-perched, part carved from the mountaintop, it seems larger on the inside than one might assume.
